Server Co-Location

Chinook Webs offers limited access co-location in our Calgary Data Centre. We break down the pricing for co-location into the components of our services that are used. Below is a typical pricing schedule. Please note pricing is subject to change without notice.

Each 2U of rack space is $40 per month

Each electrical plug used is $25.00 per month (regardless of power bars, pdu's etc)

Bandwidth:
 1.5 mbps is $132.00 per month
 3.0 mbps is $267.00 per month
 5.0 mbps is $445.00 per month
10.0 mbps is $890.00 per month

Please note the term bandwidth here is slightly inaccurate as the speeds mentioned refer to port speeds that we allow, however for clarity sake we refer to this as bandwidth. There are no additional data transfer charges or byte usage etc.

When we refer to limited access, this means that any and all visits to your equipment require you to be escorted by Chinook Webs staff. We allow up to 2 half hour visits per month during regular business hours (non-cumulative).  Other times may also be negotiated and Chinook Webs reserves the right to levy hourly charges.

Remote Power Control $8.00 per month per device
Near line backup (means to a storage server) $15 per month per 40 GB plus $50.00 setup fee.
